Li Zhenwu, a seasoned lawyer at Shanghai Lizhen Law Firm, stated that those who copy and distribute unreleased episodes without proper authorization are infringing on the rights holder's reproduction rights and right of communication through information networks. Similarly, anyone who uploads or shares links to pirated content, making it accessible to the public, is also directly liable for copyright infringement.

如果泄露和传播行为是以营利为目的，并且达到了一定的严重程度，那么这些行为还可能触犯《刑法》第二百一十七条的侵犯著作权罪。在“违法所得数额巨大或者有其他特别严重情节”的情形下，犯罪者将面临三年以上十年以下有期徒刑，并处罚金的严厉处罚。

If such acts are motivated by commercial gain and reach a serious threshold, they may constitute copyright infringement under China's criminal code. Offenders can face imprisonment ranging from three to ten years, along with fines, if the illegal gains are substantial or the circumstances are particularly egregious.

Li further noted that while individuals who stream pirated content for personal enjoyment are generally not considered direct infringers in current judicial practice, their actions still contribute to driving traffic and ad revenue to pirate sites, thereby perpetuating the illegal industry. Choosing to watch on official platforms, he emphasized, is a fundamental way to show respect and support for creators.

随着热门电视剧的开播，一些不法分子也趁机而动，他们利用观众对热门电视剧的迫切期待心理，以自己拥有资源可以提前看全集为诱饵实施诈骗行为。他们甚至附上一些“图片”作为佐证，使得不少群众上当受骗。因此，警方提醒广大观众一定要提高警惕，切勿轻信陌生信息。

警方再次强调，官方影视平台是观看电视剧的可靠途径。广大群众要在官方影视平台上理性追剧，切勿轻信那些自称有资源或者下载未知名视频平台的言论，这些极有可能是诈骗行为。不轻信陌生信息，不轻易支付费用，是保护自己财产安全的重要原则。

These criminals pose as sources with early access and use fake screenshots to trick people into paying.
